Registering new domain name need document used with requesting to register domain name in a different way depends on its TLD that each of them also extended to a several of its purpose of using.
gTLD (generic Top-Level Domain)
Register a domain name by TLD types; .com, .net, .org, .asia, .info, .biz, .name, .mobi, .eu, .us, .cn, .cc and .tv you don’t need to use any document for registering. Each of them has individually name and meaning as in the following table.
But please note that to use it is not always need to match with that TLD such as, some organization may use .com instead of .org for the reason of comfortable remembering to the people.

Thai domain name .th is limited only for Thai people or business, institute, organization that is registered in Thailand only. Requesting to register these domain names is needed document in order to confirm a register. The following TLD in Thailand has its required document as below:

The document which used with domain name registration could be considered into 2 types:
1st type is the domain name registration considered by organization’s name.
* The domain name is needed to match, be a part in or be an initial from organization.
* One organization can only register a domain for 1 name.
* The domain name need to be matched with a trademark/servicemark in every characters.
* Trademark/servicemark need to be registered and certified by Department of Intellectual Property of Thailand.

Documents:
* Certificate of Company status, Value Added Tax document (P.P. 20) or business registration (T.K. 0401).
2. foreign organization; must have the agency that register a company certificate in Thailand
Documents:
* Certificate of foreign company status
* Certificate of agency status that registered in Thailand
* Certificate of foreign company status that issued by headquarters which has 2 main subjects referenced.
- Certificated the registered company in Thailand into agency
- - Certificate of a permission to use the foreign company’s name for the Domain name registration in a name of (yourdomain).co.th
2nd type type is the domain name registration considered by a trademark/servicemark. Documents:
* Certificate of Company status, Value Added Tax document (P.P. 20) or business registration (T.K. 0401).
2. foreign organization; must have the agency that register a company certificate in Thailand
Documents:
* Certificate of foreign company status
* Certificate of agency status that registered in Thailand
